Situation solved here....and as the comments here advised it was an alignment issue....mostly front toe & some camber......both attributed to some settling of the new suspension (Nitrons) that went on a couple months ago. All good now.

Lots of factors and this thread is great in explaining many.....it's a personal thing. For me, no. I keep my cars and I spend so much time & money modifying them to my taste, I just don't want to start all over every 3 yrs.

OK....all good here. More driving over the weekend and as GB and others have said....just leave it open all the time. Thanks for your help. I'm happy with the tunes the exhaust now plays. Install went well and, on reassemble, I only had a few parts in my tray that could not find a home :)...

Ok...installed this afternoon, and, again my new vehicle already has cat delete. So....not that impressed yet but I'll give it more time....and, of course, I'm probably doing something wrong. My goal was, at every start-up to NOT have to flip the mode lever once....then flip it again (to Sport)...

Two simple/dumb questions from a newbie....if I may. 1. Do I assume correctly that in 100% Open the exhaust note will be similar to that in 'Track' mode?....(I do have 3rd cat delete) 2. If I will have no need to switch to 'Closed' or 'OEM' positions, will the car always be at 'Open' at start...

So....I've spent a lot of time viewing any/all posts regarding the OE steering wheel but can not find this. When driving straight & true, the top notch on the wheel is slightly to the right of 'straight up' position. It's obvious because it does not line up with the dash notch immediately behind...

The car above has Fast Road on a Sport suspension and it feels about right for me on the street. I have a dedicated track car w/Ohlins and was not looking for anything that firm on the Lotus. To each his own but I think Nitron did a fair job with the Fast Road.

Less. Yep, I didn't think to weigh them at the time, nor have a scale handy. Want to buy a set of OE's? Seriously, I've asked Greg to possibly weigh a set before they go out some time in the future......we'll see.

OE Bilsteins weigh 13.3 lb each in the back........10.55 each in the front.

For what it's worth , this is about a 10mm drop from a sport suspension car....spaced 12mm.

Did not actually weigh them but had them in my hands......Bilsteins are in my garage. Nitrons are apparently made on demand so normally 3 weeks or so....mine took significantly longer because an out of country supplier (out of Great Britain) for one of the components was short on materials...

Red....Amber....I am color blind. It was the "General Warning Triangle" ....which is apparently 'red', according to the manual. Any way...another thread on this and we have it solved....with the procedure of the car in the "ignition mode 1" and using the Reset procedure. Hopefully solved. Thank you!

New here and still learning.......any help very much appreciated. How can I tell what the 'General Warning Triangle' is trying to tell me? Les than a 1,000 miles on the car but 170 of those would be to the closest dealer. Any suggestions much appreciated.

Well....just went down and moved the car and today the 'General Warning Triangle' has again, gone away. Hope the issue has healed itself this time....whatever it was :) .

Finally in my garage and added to my stable...after mods since Feb. acquisition. As a Pcar guy, lots to learn yet about these cars. Appreciate this forum.

I think I have successfully reset the 'scheduled service' (using the 'Ignition Mode 1' procedure) and the triangle did go away, for a short time. But is back. I have checked for CEC's and there are none. Does anyone know how do we determine what else is causing the triangle? Thanks in advance.

As an aside.....I enjoy the light-heated attitude you guys have with respect to the Lotus brand. I'm new here, from many years in the Pcar world, and some things I notice here would require significant forgiving patience over there in Pcar land. Good move.....congrats! I'm not a fan of wheels that detract from a beautiful body....especially in slow-turning settings.....say parking lots of slow traffic. All my wheels are custom and true to that idea, but I understand that wheels are a very personal thing so respect any owners views...

Are we referring to the "System status & warning lamp" which is immediately to the right of the seatbelt light (on start up)?.....if so, on my car, when I pull up the menu it says the light is telling me to schedule service....at 850 miles? I'll look for a thread on how to reset that.
