Took the car out for the first drive after the winter break. Almost 6 months in storage with a battery charger connected. Had moved it a few times, couple of engines starts and kept the tires at 3 bar. Plenty of mouse traps around.
Great first drive, everything works and just a beautiful car to...
It's called Mactac Gloss Metallic Silver, has less of a blue hue than Osmium Silver. Very happy with it, although it's too thin to serve as proper PPF.

I had my DV wrapped in silver when I picked it up from the dealer. Love the fact that I can see the lines better but able to change back anytime I want. Both lime green and purple look good, I'd go for the purple.

Thanks everyone for the tips, worked like a charm. Plastic cover came off no problem, only had to drill open the diameter of the eyelets a little. Fixed them under the rear nuts, routed the positive cable out through one of the holes of the plastic cover and out of the top of the main cover...
Sorry for some idiotic questions, but I really have no idea about car electrics. Some advice is much appreciated here...
I would like to permanently install the eyelets end of my CTEK charger cable to the battery. If I remove the cables going to the battery, would I lose all setting in the car...
I've done the same and couldn't be happier. Love the silver color that also acts as a protective layer and knowing that I can go back to DV anytime I want.
Thanks a lot for all of your replies. Keeping the water from running into the vent is a good idea. I'll try a towel first but like the idea of a foam piece to close the gap.
Hi,
Do you guys have any tips for preventing water from running both into the engine bay as well as into the boot after washing the car?
Even if I try to keep the water away from the rear as much as reasonably possible and carefully opening the rear hatch , I still have a significant amount of...
Hi,
apologies for resurrecting this old thread, but I had a real flood after my first car wash.
After I hosed the car down, I didn't just have water flowing all over the engine and into the boot from the rear spoiler, but it also drained from within the frame of the boot lid. I had water...
I wanted a V6 manual with tan interior and the diamond cut wheels. My local dealer only had one car in that combination and that was the DV one.
Eventually, I might take the wrap off and just apply PPF, but for now I prefer a lighter colour and I have always liked silver cars.
Paid 2000 EUR...
Hi Everyone,
New to this forum and excited to join, getting my DV Emira V6 this week Friday.
I decided to wrap the car in silver metallic, hope this brings the curves out nicely.
Got a teaser pic today, can't wait to pick the car up.
