Try 3D Car Stickers . I have gotten center cap and nose emblems for my Elise in the past and they were great. You can specify any diameter and even customize them with your own logo if you want. Note that I have no affiliation with them.

You may want to wait until someone comes out with a carbon fiber replacement. No reason to do the job twice. Also, think of the weight savings! :LOL:

I'm in the same boat at the OP. Redoing the garage for the Emira and looking at flooring. I'm going to checkout the China connection.

Looks great but I'd be worried about using a jack on it. Is it strong enough to jack up a car or do you think you will need to put some wood down first? a buddy did your's and he loves it. He does detailing for a living and he washes the cars outside, pulls them in, and then dries them on...

@DaaS , I called Orlando today and got my test drive scheduled for 12/12/22 @ 1:30. They have a few slots open so call Damien and get yours. He is supposedly calling people but I never got a call, I called him. I think he had 5 or 6 slots open so don't wait.

I also spoke to my Orlando rep and he said "Soon" but did not say December. He also was a little vague about it being a demo car. He kind of said it was a customer car but that just makes me think they don't really know. I asked if a customer car was a demo car and got no real answer.

Good luck on that one. Friend has one and is ALWAYS working on it. After a year he is ready to sell it, cannot drive it enough to justify keeping it. He is a very good mechanic but too much maintenance.

Belts look a bit sloppy. Maybe a tensioner would help? Pretty engine overall though...

I'll have to look for a video, may have... I will not have a supercharger on the Emira because I will be going for the I4. I guess I'll just have to live with the turbo.

I have a supercharged Elise and the supercharger whin is addictive. I added a cold air intake which starts in the driver side air scoop and it is like cocaine now. I find myself driving at higher RPMs just to hear that wonderful woosh and whine, to the point I am thinking I will get myself...

so does everyone feel the FE wheels are all the same except for finish?

I just realized that all three wheels are all named the same, except for the finish, and appear in the small pictures in the configurator as the same wheel, just finished differently. They are not the same wheel though. I found some larger pictures and the diamond cut is a different wheel...

Sorry, must be fuzzy eyes. I have used a brand before and you cannot tell the difference between OEM and their product. The picture was one I just grabbed off the net to show as an example.

It is actually very easy to change out the center cap logos. It is just a heavily clear laminated decal. These are what I will be changing all of my emblems to.

@Kentviking I agree that I mixed it up. I am an engineer, not a fashion designer, but I think I would have chosen to match the caliper yellow to the body yellow because they are the larger pieces that you see all at once. I agree the wheel center cap is also in the same view but it is smaller...

You are absolutely right. I spaced on that one. I am getting a yellow FE. My plans are to change all the badges to silver/black and probably paint the calipers to match the paint. I may actually go to another color altogether though.

They said the calipers on the yellow cars were going to be color matched to the yellow of the body. Sure does not look "matched" in this video. Hummm.....

I think this is some kind of mis-information. Honda does not just leave a car like this sitting in a window in an office. I'd say it is someone's early April Fools joke.

The black/silver center caps would look great if you change the hood emblem. Three different yellows... :confused:

I have seen this done on Lotus Elise and it looked pretty good on light colors like my Chrome Orange.

Not a problem at all. I am looking for honest opinions. The one good thing about wraps are that they can be removed when it does not work out or looks strange. Thanks for the honesty.

What are peoples thoughts on blacking out, with gloss wrap, the area behind the A-Pillar? I think it looks longer and lower. Original: Blacked out:

Although Lotus sources their engines from Toyota, and now MB, I am pretty sure they do their own ECU mapping on Lotus procured ECUs. Can anyone confirm my thoughts? If that is the case then Lotus could tweak ECUs for each market. That might explain the 400 hp I4 for China.

Maybe it is 400 china HP? What is the ratio of China HP to US HP?
