Steve, had you got a solution for the airbag warning lights yet?

They are almost impossible to see installed as they are black and insert into the gaps of the existing engine/gearbox mount. The engine/gearbox mounts where they are fitted are tucked up quite high under the rear sub frame. There is an exploded view that I posted earlier in this thread.

I have not noticed any difference, and I have installed the stiffer black inserts rather than the softer yellow ones.

Engine mounts now fitted and I can confirm it is a dramatic improvement. Crisp and tight gearchange, heal and toe braking vastly improved with less engine movement and an all together more connected experience. Sharpens it up for not much money and about 4 hours fitting.😁😄

Picking mine up from Silverstone tomorrow after updates so I will let you know. They have had the car three weeks working on warranty issues and I have been assured that they have had no issues with non starting on any of their daily moves around the dealership. We will see.......

Steve, Do you have a fix yet for the airbag error light?

I am also considering the Tillett B10 but am concerned about fault codes. Would be good if Tillett had a "plug in" fix. If you go with Tillett let us know how you get on

How recent is the fix for this? Mine is with the dealer at the moment so wondering if I should ask for them to delay the software updates

Steve, If you can come up with something to solve the airbag throwing lights it would make it work for me. Maybe a plug that completes the missing circuit of a "black box" to fool the system?

Whilst I was removing the undertray I a large amount of stones and gravel. There are quite a few places that are worth checking on. In particular there are two pockets without a drain that fill with stones. I have now filled them with foam so they shouldn’t fill up in the future.

I am not suggesting anyone should be put off buying an Emira, I am merely responding to the OP. Having read the post I decided to investigate and report back.

I would think yellow colour is from the flux on the welds which should have been cleaned off before galvanizing. I have never driven on salty roads and I did not paint the subframe with galvanized paint. I have a long list for my dealer and this is not on it yet. I only looked because of this...

In answer to the original question, Yes I do have rust on the rear sun frame. I also have galvanised paint and cement! I have poor welds and poor galvanising:(

Did you find out who makes it? Can we buy direct from the manufacturer?

These look great. I assume you loose all the electric controls. Although I have another car with carbon seats and they have electric controls for back and forward and tilt which is quite nice. Would it be possible to have that adjustment?

If you are now in Switzerland, I can recommend Kumschick Sports Cars (Lotus Zentrum Luzern) They were amazing when our Emira died in a similar way earlier in the summer. If you get an opportunity to have it transported to a dealer then you could not be in better hands.
