I love Nimbus. Personal preference. Mine has black pack, tan interior, and yellow calipers. Yellow calipers plus the yellow Lotus badges (plus my special CA license plat which is black and yellow) really works imo. But it's all subjective.

Sports! Still felt pretty soft for track work. But good for general life.

Some photos from a recent track day at Willow Springs with my Emira. Brake dust is killing me, but otherwise she's looking nice.

Track day over now, car felt great and tires felt great. I found the best pressures were actually stock recommended - 29 front 31 rear (cold). Below it felt too soft on corners, above lost grip. Again, this is for the GY Eagle F1's. Will be replacing with Cup 2's soon.

This is extremely off topic.. but the thought has crossed my mind and this reminds me of the idea: it would be quite cool to see someone (who's insane) upgrade the Emira to the nines. Carbon body panels, total engine rework, ceramic brakes, etc. Not like a crazy track thing, like a restomod...

Yeah that'll be very hard to move back to. But hey, the Emira is awesome so you'll still love it. Having said that, I've made a promise to myself to never get steel brakes again. My M3 is a nightmare just like the Emira.

Good point. I'll experiment more with those tips. My car has been at the dealer for almost two months now.... so I haven't had a chance to wash it again. Miss the damn thing.

This happens with mine too when power washing. I didn't realize it would happen with just a hose though, that's pretty hopeless.

My Uniden on my M3 rattles too. Kind of horribly annoying. Put so much effort into having a super clean fitment with the belndmount, and then the unit itself rattles like hell. Anyone know a good fix for this? Or, maybe just another model that doesn't rattle?

Hey ya'll. After seeing outofspec reviews do a full paint correction to an Emira, I want to get mine paint corrected (then will promptly PPF afterwards). Any really top notch paint correction shops around LA anyone is familiar with?

I assume the Emira heavily relies on the structural integrity of the roof. Anything less than the absolute best conversion, with all the additional design, support structure, testing, etc would likely just result in a very floppy feeling car. That's my feeling, but I also would LOVE to see you...

Have my Emira in the shop getting some mods done. I'm unfortunately not all that handy myself. Crazy to learn that two shops now have rejected putting the 3rd decat pipe in because of a CA law that states if you remove any emissions related device there's a $100,000 fine. Lovely California.
