I’m having the same issue. Hill hold not releasing on an incline and I either stall it or burn the clutch and look like I can’t drive properly! 😳

The mechanic had a play with the steering column and the creaking stopped. He did say he was waiting on a replacement part to fix the issue. But before that could happen the dealership closed down!

Yep, steering pump was replaced. There was also a cracking noise which turned out to be a chassis plate that needed to be tightened. Everything was nice and quiet until I had my first service done a few weeks ago. I’ve yet to tell the dealer about this new noise.

Is it like the video attached? My car has started doing it. This car is getting progressively worse.

It sounds like you have the same issue that I had. My dealership diagnosed it as a chassis plate that needed tightening. My creek sounded like it was coming from the passenger foot well on a right-hand drive car. They also did some tightening of the flat under trays.

Update on my car. The dealership got the stethoscope out and finally diagnosed the noise. Apparently it was a loose chassis plate. My Emira is now rattle free!

Picked the car up in early May. It’s got about 2k miles on the clock. To be fair, once the creaking is sorted it’ll be perfect. Until the next issue 😬

I actually found the Bass response to be better with the windows slightly cracked. With the windows closed I experience a vibration coming from behind the right hand seat.

My car also creeks/cracks upon hitting the breaks, going over medium bumps and steering lock in car parks. Also terrible noise at full lock, diagnosed as failed steering pump.

My Emira has been great, untill a few days ago. Full steering lock now produces a godawful racket. Took it to my local dealer and they have diagnosed a failed steering pump. Also creaking from the Center console now at medium size bumps, annoying.

I’ve been driving through heavy rain, switching from off to auto, to try annd mimic the fault, and my wipers have been acting normally. I took delivery just under two weeks ago. Wiper issue fixed on recent cars???

My last car was a GTS 4.0, and after 2 test drives I think the Emira is the more exciting car. Although I do think the engine sounds better on the cayman.
