Those foam pieces are typically called energy absorbers and should just slide out.. Unless Lotus used some sort of adhesive. Maybe @Aerie has some tips?

Just wait until the First Edition 3.0s come out with +20 HP. 😂 Joking.. but seriously, it was worse with the Evora rollout. Not even a year after the original naturally aspirated Evoras were delivered, Lotus decided to supercharge them AND lowered the price. Imagine how those early adopters felt. 😬

Haha, yeah.. Victory is garbage. At least their sales department is. Totally unresponsive and not interested in making money it seems. Ray's a good guy at Summit. He gives updates as they're available and always courteous and responsive.

Eh, I don't know about that. The power curve is completely different between the turbo 4 and supercharged V6. The low end torque on the turbo will be fun around town for sure, but the power drops off up high. The V6 is extremely linear and pulls all the way to redline and wants to keep going...

My buddy with a Magma Emira painted his. The polish on the Emira knob is different than the Evoras. The Emira one stained very easily and was a pain to clean. There's still a little red staining on the knob but it should come off with normal use.

Yeah, that's interesting. I wonder how many other vehicles do this. I know the center accent strip above the driver's gauge display (the metal one with tiny holes) is apparently for heat extraction and not just a fancy design.

This is in my Evora GT! Bespoke Verde Ithaca stitching from the factory. Same exact shift knob as the Emira though! Looks 100% better painted. 👽

I had to redo mine after a year. It's recessed but kinda rough so you'll naturally get dirt, sweat, and dead skin in there. If you can fill the paint up high enough it should last longer. But you'll need to be patient and let the coats dry fully before reapplying.

It's easy. But you want to use enamel paint. I got mine from Michael's along with a tiny brush. Do the black parts first, let dry, and then the color parts so the black doesn't accidentally get mixed in. I use a tissue and some alcohol to gently wipe the excess. You'll want to do multiple coats...
