I think this might be a new one, but if others have had the issue would love to hear how they resolved it
My drivers window opens to about 80% open, when I close the door.
The window does the usual closing the last 5mm or so, as they always do when you close the door, then opens back up. I can...
Its general uncertainty in the world economy, driven by uncertainty in how the US is going to use Sanctions, amongst other things.
Once thats settled down, things will revert to type
Yes there is a boost gauge, not the most usable, but tells you percentage being used.
On the centre console menus, its on the same page as the Tyre pressure view(I think), you have to scroll all the way to the left.
I've owned mine 7 months and only found it last weekend
So in UK money about a ten grand. Ouch !!
Would love a set, but no way I could justify that expense. I'd be better off spending less than that on driver training
Thankfully I have 3 local Lotus independents, all significantly cheaper than main dealership. Will see what their prices are for everything after the 1st service
oooh, I like that idea, can I have the US offside mirror?
Being 6' 4", the seat is almost all the way back, so the drivers side wing mirror shows about half the rear wheel arch and then some road
My first thought was, why would you EVER leave the car running whilst filling it up.
Even the notices on garage forecourts say not to.
I would not be surprised if this was the cause
Anyone else noticed that all the threads are showing as UNread and not even showing read if you go into them now?
When posting things look slightly different too.
Apologies, if this is the wrong room tp ost this, could not think of elsewhere to put it
So the design of the VS1 supposedly puts the lens too far away from the windscreen? Seems as though everyone would have noticed this, including the reviewers out there
The design is no different to the many non-wedge type dashcams, so is there something specific about the design of the VS1 that...
I'm leaning towards the VS1, given I plan to put the dashcam behind the Rear view mirror, on the passenger side and would not be able to see the screen for most of the time anyway.
Just hoping/wondering if others have opinions on other Dashcams I should have considered, before buying it
Right, latest news. Kenwood is out. No Polarisation filter and Kenwood themselves dont know what CMOS Sensor it uses, so no way of knowing if it is as good or better than the Viofo options. Viofo use the latest Sony CMOS Sensor which is considered one of the best currently available.
So before...
Those are bonkers money over here. If I have it right, Amazon showing it for ~£1700 !!! Ten times what I planned on paying for the 3 mentioned earlier.
I'm now torn between the Kenwood A510W, or the Viofo VS1, or A119 Mini. Cant make my mind up.
The Viofo's do seem to have the better CMOS sensor though
I have been stopped 3 times so far and told "Nice McClaren" whilst filling up the car in petrol stations. The similarities are quite obvious and the general public would seem to agree :)
Damn mate, really sorry to hear that. Hope it all works out and you get it back soon. Also hope it doesnt put you off the car and you get to keep it and enjoy it
Well since I last posed, I am now looking at the A119 Mini 2.
Only very slightly bigger and has a screen, which I dont need, but may prove useful. And for the so small increase in size, most likely worth it.
Decision, Decsions
Has anyone had any issues with the ampage supplied from the USB-C socket on the Rear View mirror assembly, powering their dash cam?
I was about to buy a Kenwood DVR-A510W and the manufacturer insists it needs to be minimum 2A supply and USC-C to USB-C is rarely that high
Now considering the...
I was going to buy a Kenwood dash cam, but they are insistent that it cannot take a USB-C to USB-C power supply, so off to find something else. Seems daft that the supply has to be Cigarette socket/USB-A supply to USB-C
Does anyone know if the USB socket on the mirror housing, is permanently live?
And does anyone know what the power output is? Seems that most Dashcams need 2A and most in car USB-C ports are only 1A
Thinking of getting a Dashcam with Parking mode and it needs power when ignition is off.
If you do contact the seller, I'll go in and have one and halve the delivery costs.
I will continue to try and find out which manufacturer they are sourced from
