At 120K-124K they are not going to sell 3 times more car like they were planning. Each dealer was selling 5-10 Evora GT per year at 129K-150K and they are going to sell what 10-15 Emira per year instead of 20-25 if the car had been priced accordingly to be more competitive.

I got the wrong email from Lotus USA me either but my friend and salesman send me the pricing via email but told me not to tell yet. It is disapointing. More expensive then a base GT4..... By pricing a very well equipped V6 Emira between the GTS 4.0 and GT4 means that if you compare a base V6 Emira with a base Cayman GTS 4.0 the Lotus is going to be less expensive or equal just like you suggest to gain customer interest to the brand with a slightly lowest pricing.

The thing is the CAD Emira price should not be based only onto the currency exchange rate. The price of the car should be positionned between the Cayman GTS 4.0 and the GT4 just like every other market in the world until now to be where they want it to be against the competition.

The North American Evora need the Europe front bumper and it look much better that way.
