Yeah and it can change at any time. If it suddenly jumps a few % I'm out. But that could happen any time in the next 8 months and I'll miss out on other cars too. Such a dilemma.

This is the issue. July 7th 2021 deposit and I don't know now when I'm likely to see my car any more than I did then (same goes for most of us) I think it's going to be another 8 months but who knows for the AMG. I can only see the APR going up again soon.

Having had an i4 deposit since before Goodwood 2021 I've waited as long as most people and there is no sign of them. Don't think I'll see it before June 2023 and if interest rates are going up from Lotus I need them to tell me now so I can cancel and buy something else before everything is too...

This would be a nightmare for me if the APR jumps again. Would really grind my balls having to pay a few hundred more a month even with a biggish deposit around £30k Makes me want to go buy a BMW tomorrow and walk away for a few years.

Another 10k and another 300 a month? You may as well add 50k more and 1000 a month and cross shop a Ferrari 296 I've no doubt they're amazing cars. But they do absolutely nothing for me stylistically.

Looks nothing like current M3 Apart from the Better power to wait ratio than AMG Emira and basically the same as the v6

Haha I sold my M4 Comp August 2021 while prices were sky high waiting for the Emira. That was a bad move. I bought a cheap run around and really ache for something decent now. If Lotus would actually give me some clue as to when I might see it that would help.

Went through the configuration today, ticked all the options seems alright value wise you get a lot of toys. £71,860 OTR Tempted.. waiting for reviews on the AMG Emira

I like it. Its growing on me. Previous cars have been an M240i and an M4Comp so a fully loaded M2 with carbon seats is a realistic option for me if Lotus don't pull through. It will drive very well and its a better all rounder than the Emira. Hope they do an Xdrive version.

Most of the cameras we have on motorways either use radar for speed traps or ANPR for average speed checks between two points and thus wouldn't emit anything. Then in towns we often have Truvelo cameras which have trip wires in the road surface. The only laser based cameras would be mobile...

More to the point if it only jams lasers it won't work on the majority of our cameras.

Wouldn't work too well in the UK.

Can't see it happening this year the way they're going. Would love to be wrong. The lack of detail and sightings of the i4 leaves me rather lacking in hope.
