In an ironic twist, I thought buying my Emira from a "larger" dealer would result in a better shot at an early allocation. The reality is that the way the deliveries have been rolled out, I am now stuck waiting on the dealer cuz they have too many vehicles to deliver - and cant handle more...

Again, great to see how close we all are to taking delivery, but this is an absolute shit show. Last minute charges. Cars MIA. Cars sitting at ports cuz dealers cant deliver quickly enough. If there was a playbook on how to fuck up a new product launch - Lotus would be a best selling author.

I spoke to me dealer rep yesterday. He said vehicles will be produced in Nov/Dec for NA deliveries this year. I then reminded him that it was November...I feel very confident, and I am now 100% certain that he has absolutely no idea when/if/how/where Emira's will be produced for NA. Just that...

I got an email from my dealer offering me a t-shirt in appreciation of my being a lotus customer (Emira is my first lotus). They needed my size. So, no Emira yet...but I am getting a t-shirt.
