As KitKat said, PPF is "Paint Protection Film", its primary goal is to protect the paint of a car, whilst generally the idea is to not change the aesthetic of the original paint. Normally they're entirely transparent and colourless to retain the factory paint, sometimes adding a little more...

Rather than needing to PPF the roof, it may make more sense to wrap the roof as it's not really at the risk of stone chips and a wrap gives good protection anyway. They (a good installer) shrink the wrap around the panel so you can't see the edge, it appears as if the panel is just painted...

It looks like there's no real new shots from the last day or so. I think a few dealers may have had a little telling off about prematurely releasing photos. Shame really....

Having stared at this way too long, it does appear to have the black pack. I think it's definitely a colour where you can get away with either having or not having the full black pack with the roof not really changing the look too much. I am however a big fan of the black exhaust and black LOTUS...

Colours redone, only so much you can do with a compressed JPG without making it look fairly crppy. Take it as something fun to get you excited, not gospel from the manufacturer ;)

So I've had another fettle with the DV pic in lightroom - to set your expectations a bit, it's a 3rd hand compressed JPG that I've tried processing, not a RAW file, there's only so much information you can pull out of the picture. The highlights are as low as they can go without creating...

So now a few pics have come out of the other colours, DV of interest to me specifically... I've got FOMO on my second choice. I saw the factory snap earlier in this thread but wasn't happy with the picture quality so I've had a fiddle with the white balance and done a rendition of black alloys...

I do think the black alloys really finish off DV well. There's something about the base rims in silver that made it look a tad underwhelming. The Magma in the post above is finished off so well with the black forged rims. Can't wait to see the forged rims on DV (and Nimbus too!)
