I have the same issue.. I have about 1.5" on each side at the opening and then 2ft on each side once in the garage... I wish they made the opening 6" wider to not worry about this.
please do it!!! I really wanna see this.. Maybe I could just do the drivers side and leave the passenger side stock (not sure how I feel about that though looks wise)..
But I really need the foldable seat for the storage behind my seats so keeping the passenger side stock might work for...
Please let me know if before the seats you felt your lower back having issues and now on long drives do you still feel that way?
I mostly want this for the lower back pain I feel when driving for more than 1hr in the stock seats...

Can someone explain what this does or why this would be updated? Just wondering if it's totally necessary since my dealer is 3.5 hours one way..
Thanks
Looks like 15mm is pretty much where I would want to be.. Not sure I want to lower it at all, but if I did it looks like this would be ideal.. I AM going to add the GRP spacers for sure.. just not sure IF I want to lower it at all after the spacers.. if it looks like too much gap I might, but...
Def want your opinion on these after long drives.. I really LOVE the white seats (like really love).. so going just black seats hurts my soul, but IF my lower back no longer hurts, might be worth it..
Thanks
Ryan G
Sadly the case I need to fit back there would only work with a foldable option... even with the seat all the way forward on either side.. I tried.. trust me.
Not a problem.. but not sure where to put this..
I don't really have any issues, just a check engine here and there that clears itself.. I hear about software updates and the water intrusion fix and a few other things... my question... IF I don't really have much going on does it make sense...
Really just wondering for wondering sake.. To keep it stock looking.. that a valid response?
I doubt I would keep the 3rd cat if I removed it afterwards.. So not sure what to do with it other than scrap... open to ideas.. I guess I could keep it in storage for whenever I sell it (6+ years...
That looks pretty nice.. Any rubbing at all? I just worry about lowering that much (is that the max you can lower it btw?).. the roads here in Tampa / St Pete aren't the best with a TON of road issues..
Ryan G
So instead of replacing the 3rd cat with the De-cat.. Could I just bore out the 3rd cat and it would be like having a straight pipe (GRP 3rd cat delete) back there? So If I had to take it somewhere no one would know...
I dunno just thinking would that save me a few hundred $$ and still...
Mind showing a pic of the car from the side view (90 degrees to camera angle).. I would love to see what 15mm looks like (I saw a couple with 25mm and that looks LOW...
I will at some point be doing the spacers (I don't want new wheels) and then possibly, possibly lowering it 1" to make the stance look more aggressive.
That's a bit of a ways away though, as first is 3rd cat delete, Valve controller, and a bunch of cosmetic things.
Ryan G
I am a little upset by this, but happy for others.. I will be on a cruise starting on Wednesday through Sunday.. Damnnnnnn...
Can't you do the door busters on Monday??? PLEASE!!!
Ryan G
If you want it to look more flush you are better off doing 10mm front and 12mm back (13 even)..
Especially if you are NOT lowering the car.
Just my opinion
Ryan G
I started using a cloth seat cover when I am driving and then take it off when I get out of the car and put it back on when I get back in and it's made a pretty decent difference.
I am going to get some leather conditioner as well to put on the seats to keep them nice and new (ish)
Ryan G
I appreciate the feedback... I will not "just be in there".. This would be to do that very specific thing as I don't see any other reason to be in there for me.
I guess I will have to wait until there is an issue that I could piggyback off of this mod.
I really appreciate the heads up...
Def would love to know how much brake dust after intervals of driving.. Right now I can't go more than 6 miles without dust, and at 25 miles it's pretty thick, over 50 miles and there is a ton (this is in city driving with traffic mind you).
Ryan G
I appreciate the detailed reply.. Thank you.. I guess I need to just buy the cheap scanner and see what it can do and go from there.. I don't need anything too indepth.. I just want to see what code is thrown really so I can keep an eye on things.. and clear the code when necessary.
Ryan G
Weird... because Allenyao said it worked fine for him.. Can you tell me why it didn't work? Did it not even connect to the car? Find the car? See faulty codes?
Would love to hear your thoughts
I'm contacting them next week to get the leather with yellow stitching.
Might do the supercharger, but worried if I go all yellow it might be too much. So might do it silver and the lotus and v6 in yellow.
I have not found yet (after 3800 miles). The seats getting any better. The lower back bolster is way too far out into my back and yes I have it as far in as it goes. I Def get out of the car after driving for a bit with a soar lower back.
Hey @kitkat I actually didn't have to remove the cover at all. They taped off the area REALLY well and then used a spray to get into the back area.. I will take another pic tomorrow to show that part.. It came out great (I was skeptical honestly).. but they did a great job and it was pretty...
I actually found a guy that does spray for all sorts of different surfaces.. He did both parts. Leather paint for the steering wheel and then he had to scuff the engine starter part a little so the spray would adhear to it..
Hope that helps.. He was done in 90 minutes with both.
I want rear fog lights... somehow.. Just something small to illuminate the area when I am backing up to see better.. Or when it's foggy out or raining the cars behind me can see me better...
