I was the eighth July. My dealer told me 2000 deposits in the first week, and most came from the Goodwood Festival of speed event (10th onwards). Should be nice and early

I put my deposit on the 8th July, and I've been told Christmas 2022. That translates to 2023 also. Makes sense as the first ones won't come off the line until spring 2022, and then the first AMG engines end of summer 2022 (so I'm told).

I I placed the deposit directly with Lotus. Yet to receive any confirmation. Dealer said that a lot are in the same situation. I'm not fussed, I have plenty of time to save my pennies.

Late to the conversation, so sorry if I repeat stuff. Sadly I won't be able to afford the manual, so the Toyota engine is off the cards. Happy to say that I've spoken to a few AMG remappers, and I should be able to get to 415hp with a one day visit and a £500 outlay, so the AMG engine is going...
