I"m PPFing mine but nothing wrong with not doing it. If you're fine with it not being as pristine when you got it don't worry about the PPF. Just drive and dont worry about it if thats your thing.

Curious as to what the reason (probably ridiculous) was that your cars weren't even allowed to enter the state until CARB approval for 'storage' at the dealers like everyone elses? Im sure it was stated somewhere in the 500+ pages of the USA delivery thread but missed it.

The Axiom VSC was explained as basically that. He tried to use language to imply that it extended the factory full warranty to 6 years until I grilled him on what was covered under it. Basically a powertrain warranty. Also the cheap PPF isn't much coverage listed at that price.

They sent me their menu for Lotus Protection prices. Seemed very high and the time share selling tactics pitch didnt help either. I'm usually against extended warranties any way. Your dealer prices may vary.

My car is definitely coming with one. Lotus may change that though once they aren't having their cars sitting waiting for CARB. I was planning using a CTEK before getting a Lotus one as I've used that for years. Its what Porsche sells as their branded charger for 3X what you can buy elsewhere.

Are you're talking about printing the big service/workshop manual? I didnt think that was publicly available as free as the owners manual. It might not be legal to print off and sell like the owners manual.

I was told technically could've gotten later today but they weren't positive the software update be done, Raining bad tomorrow and 2 hr away so doing Wednesday be safe. Soon is now actually SOON for a lot of us.

That would be nice. Porsche has this exact same program but no way Lotus do that and has been asked. Too many legalities and insurance laws. If Lotus started that program today it might be ready by 2080.
