Probably not me. I have a vacation planned this next weekend. A family event the following week, and then I'm off to London for two weeks to visit Hethel. So my car will have PLENTY of time to get PPF and such.

If it's sold in the US they are all CARB certified already unless you are talking about something custom.

I honestly care less about whether it's 400HP vs 395HP at peak than I care about them messing with the throttle response to improve the emissions. So you are right... it could have the same HP/TQ and just have shit response after a flash. That being said... I kind of believe whatever flash...

Do we think that CARB goes an entire month without any website updates? We had an update in January, but nothing in February unless they are going to update tomorrow on the 29th. I know it's random, but hard for me to believe they just skip a month with no updates.

Technically they are not supposed to even allow the test drive. Dealer probably would prefer it not being known they are letting customers do it.

When Lotus tells you that the window is Feb 12-March 15th, just know that on your drive home from picking it up that you also need to drop your taxes in the mail that day or they will be late.
