Yikes, that is pretty bad. The film isn't even cut close to the vent. As much as I hate the idea of taking things apart... man must see how to safely be able to drop that vent to wrap the paint. It would then make sense to wrap the shiny bits too rather than only ceramic coating it.

Yeah, I'm torn what method I'd prefer too (cut out with or without patched, or straight across in two pieces). I feel these better installers will honor a request except for no relief cut.

I remember coming across posts where installers couldn't figure out how to remove/drop the scoop vents to wrap around perfectly, but this generally applies to most exotics.
