So, does all of this mean that in some seats the lumbar bladders are in the correct (or different spots) than others? I know I shouldn't be surprised but I would think that these bladders would not be designed to be repositioned as easily as it sounds, they are.

How much difference did this make in the sound heard inside while driving?

I fiddled with the adjuster that is in the center of the vent, and it feels like whatever I did reduced the output in the center vents and increased them in the side vents. I know my right hand no longer freezes. They may close when pushed either to the right or left fully.

Check how your vents are adjusted. The center two on mine were full open and freezing my hands. The outer two were mostly closed. When I adjusted them, it was much better. You can also change the fan settings from high to low somewhere in the settings menu.
