I use break buster - basically I clean the wheels first when washing, then the exhaust tips using the same solution. Foam cannon is ideal, but spray bottle works. I use the small EZ detail brush to get in and around the exhaust tips. If you wash regularly, this will keep everything nice n sparkly.

My Emira came with a little annoying issue: the drivers seatbelt is not coiled into the retraction mechanism correctly, so the seat belt is always half twisted over my torso. Not sure if others have had this problem, wanted to call it out here. Might be worth adding to the list.

Related question - has anyone hit full lock when moving in a parking lot or something, and felt the rack hit the full lock position? Mine feels bad when I do that. It clanks when it hits the full lock stop, like metal on metal. The feel through the steering feels odd. Hard to describe, just...

Same exact thing happened to me! They confirmed no ADM for the 2.0 when I submitted the build sheet. Now that it's delivered they're saying it's a 1.0... but the MSRP matches more the 2.0? A bit all over the place 🙄

If one side is for engine intake, is that drivers side? I had assumed both sides intake but I guess thinking logically about the engine it makes sense. What does the intake on the passenger side do, provide some flow to the engine bay for cooling? Apologies for the naivety

Reduction of unsprung mass and brake dust are plenty good reason to go CC. The brake dust on my M3 without CC's is horrendous. I've found warm up period for CC's is noticeable but ultimately a non-issue. Excited to see where this goes @Speedy Emira!

I love the tan interior but I personally wouldn't combo it with hethel. The tan has a lot of yellow in it, yet at the end of the day is brown. To my eye it clashes and doesn't compliment hethel well. Hethel feels like a flashy modern color, whereas tan has a more subdued old -school...

A year ago when I bought my M3 the calipers were blue and I wanted them red to match the interior color. The dealer repainted them for free, as part of the purchase agreement. Idk if a Lotus dealership would do that (most likely not for free), but depending on the dealership it may be possible...
