Welcome to the scene! I'm set to be picking up my Nimbus over Tan V6 manual in the next few DAYS at Cape Fear. Our specs are very similar. I live in North Raleigh and would definitely be up for a drive when we all have our Emiras!

I'm getting excited for the week. I have held back any expectations given the history but I think in the next two weeks we're finally going to have some Emiras on the US roads.

You do still have to fork out 50% of the cost of the car up front. Being able to finance the rest at 0% is definitely a decent deal though assuming there aren't too many restrictions apart from the 15K mileage which seems plenty high.

I completely agree. I'm 100% replacing it. The point of this question was whether to go with the GRP stainless or a titanium decat. Aerie states the titanium pipe is like 600 grams so I was curious how heavy the stainless was to see whether or not it's worth the extra ~$80 or so.

@GRP what is the specific weight of this decat pipe? I'm strongly considering ordering one and would like to know the difference in weight between this and titanium options. Thanks!

Yeah I was tempted to join you on this but I didn't particularly want anything "Lotus certified" coupled with a 2 hour drive to Wilmington. It looks fantastic though and I'm sure they did a great job. I'll probably just do ceramic or something around Raleigh. I don't think I can justify $6K+...

LOL, my FE 1.0 has been sitting on the dealer lot in NC since December awaiting CARB. Still no gift along with no expectations of receiving one. Yes, I did get the e-mail back when they were first being sent out.

Not to be snarky, but he literally said "my Hagerty quote" :) I should also mention that my Hagerty quote was a 3K mile/year limit and I was told the max they will do is 5K/year. You can bump it up if you are going to exceed the initial limit.
