Has anyone installed the GRP Adjustable Lowering Kit? Looking for feedback.

Thanks for the excellent feedback. Do you have the touring or sport suspension? I felt the body roll on my test drives with touring but I notice very little on my sport suspension. I'm very tempted to knock this out (mostly for aesthetics) but I just don't want to have to stress over...

    North America Emira Experiences

Closing in on 1,100 miles and no desire for power upgrades. This car really sings once you are able to push it hard and it doesn't lack power at all unless you're trying to drag race people. Even then, I do feel like it could hold its own against all but the most drag-focused cars on the road...

Short shift kit by Forge Motorsport

Thanks for sharing this. As I've started to drive it a bit harder after completing the break-in miles, I've found that shifting into 2nd when revving out 1st almost to redline can be a bit slow/clunky. This was described in some YouTube videos, especially the Hagerty drag race video where they...

How many miles you got on your Emira!?

I'm 13 days into ownership and just cleared the 1,000 mile mark today. So far, zero significant issues. The only, very minor issues I have encountered are as follows: 1. My iPhone 15 pro often does not wirelessly reconnect to CarPlay. It seems to happen about every other day. If I go into...

    North America Emira Experiences

Let the fun begin! As of right now, after actually opening up this car a bit, I don't see any need for power increases. She pulls hard and I think adding more power would only reduce my confidence with the car. This opinion may change as the weeks and months go on but for now, the Emira has...

GRP Emira Decat Pipes Now Available!

I'll weigh in here in hopes that I can help. For the initial startup, even with option 2 (Valve fully closed) with the decat, the startup is still more aggressive than any mode stock IMO. This is partly based on feedback from my wife today when I started it up in fully closed mode and she was...

GRP Emira Decat Pipes Now Available!

I can't speak for the Milltek exhaust, but I just drove ~150 miles on mostly highways with the full closed setting on the controller with the GRP delete it was very pleasant at around 75mph. A very slight drone but it's quiet and not at all tiring.

GRP Emira Decat Pipes Now Available!

My brother owns the shop so the installation was free. A competent shop should be able to do the install of both in less than 2 hours total from start to finish so I don't think it should cost more than ~$300 if you don't want to do it yourself. Of course that all depends on cost of labor in...

    More details for KEF Audio

After nearly two weeks and 980 miles (just 20 away after my Virginia trip the past 36 hours!), I still think the system is adequate for the car. It is true that when you roll down the windows the bass hits noticeably less sharply and for some songs in that scenario the bass hits become a bit...

GRP Emira Decat Pipes Now Available!

Installed the GRP decat and Milltek valve controller. It really brings the car alive. The sound difference is VERY noticeable in a positive way. Much more aggressive and deeper tone and louder in general. It could be a mental thing, but the throttle response feels a bit sharper and the car...

Feels like better throttle response and somehow quicker. Sound is absolutely amazing. Can’t recommend enough. Here’s a clip of revving to about 5500. Use headphones :) I’m on my phone currently but I’ll provide more description in the proper thread when I’m home tonight or tomorrow.

CARB is behind us...But What Actually Happened?

I feel for you and others in CARB states. Hang in there, though. I promise, it WILL be worth the wait. I'm about 10 days into ownership and this car is amazing. It sucks big time that many US customers are STILL waiting but when the day finally comes you will *mostly* forget about all this...

I'm likely going to do the same. I'm more interested in the results rather than the actual installation, although that information is helpful and welcomed as well.

📓 Journals Porter's Magma BP over Tan, trips journal & reactions

Great initial experience post and I absolutely love your spec. Very nice selection. I'm headed up to VA tomorrow (Lynchburg area) and I'm looking forward to taking the "Avoid Highways" route up from Raleigh. It's funny how much I'm using that feature for navigation now that I'm in the Emira...

Has anyone installed the GRP Adjustable Lowering Kit? Looking for feedback.

Hey Emira Lovers, I'm looking for any feedback from people who have installed the GRP Adjustable Lowering Kit. Specifically, I'd like to hear feedback about the following: 1. How is ground clearance with the car lowered and how much did you lower it? The car is amazing going over speedbumps...

Glad the alcantara worked out for you. I recall you were on the fence about that. I'm also really happy with it. Gives it that extra special feeling since I've never had an alcantara wheel before. Monday was a bit surreal experiencing the new 'normal' just hitting the gym on a sunny day in...
