There were no issues with the noise level or threshold requirement at COTA. It hung right in there with all the other loud high-performance cars. :cool:

In preparation for the event, I also got an Alcantara key fob cover from @Bancho, which I really enjoy having.

I just got home from LOG43, and the hook is still rock solid! Thankfully, I didn't need to test its towing ability. It looks great, is still tight, and is in the same position as when I installed it.

I haven't been on the track with mine yet (racing COTA on Sunday), but I couldn't imagine not having the cat deleted now. To me, it makes the Emira sound as good as it looks. Thanks for posting this! I have a set of EBC Red Stuff pads on the shelf that I plan to install after I burn up the factory pads at the track this coming weekend.

To access it, you will probably need to remove the rear diffuser. During an oil change, you can access this area and clean some things out. You will also dump about a pound of dirt and rocks. :cool:

Hmm, I guess when the threaded bung was welded into the car, it could have been clocked differently. That or, the rod was off when they machined the tow hook. You could try adding a good amount of thread-seal tape to the threads to see if that would help clock it correctly, or maybe add a nut to...

It does, and if you press the #3 button on the controller it acts as OEM. So when I say that the valve is closed, I mean it was set back to OEM valve control.

Did you tighten it by hand? It looks like you only need about a 1/4 of a turn to get it square. Maybe use a short wooden dowel to help you turn it enough to get it square if needed.

See my video above. Any sounds with the valve controller "closed" are essentially what the exhaust would sound like without the valve controller.

My pops and burbles are inconsistent and seem to change depending on how warm the engine is, how much load it's under, and possibly even exterior temps. I have an exhaust sound video coming soon that might help show this.
