What did you do to your Emira today?

Finally got both cars together. The V6 is dirty from sitting at dealer service for a week. I then installed the Magsafe phone mount/charger. did not take a pic but it's the same one I use on the V6 Since it's finally a warmer day. Came home, had lunch and gave the V6 a wash and cleaned the...

    I4 Vs V6

I'm totally fine with the exhaust as is. Exhaust does nothing for me. In fact, I hate it in my RS5 when it does the artificial rumble at start and people around start looking to see where the noise came from.

V6 and i4 side by side

Probably but I have not even taken it past 1/4 throttle and it's pretty responsive even in tour.

V6 and i4 side by side

Only had 70 miles on the i4 but it is more responsive in the city since the i4 will keep rpm at 3K in sport mode so you get a lot more low end torque.

V6 and i4 side by side

Both Touring as I'm too old to survive Sport in our sucky road conditions

V6 and i4 side by side

Finally got both together. The V6 needs a wash, sat at dealer for a week and they didn't even give it a basic wash before pickup.

    I4 Vs V6

Check with your dealer and make sure they did the Dec 24 software update for the transmission. mine got it but someone close to me that picked up from another dealer in Jan did not.

    Driving gloves?

I have Alcantara on my 2021 RS5 and the i4. I use this on the Audi every 3-4 months (more often in summer) and the steering wheel is still perfect after 4 years and 29000 miles. I did get a pair of open fingers gloves for summer since you tends to sweat more on a hot steering wheel but have not...

Are any i4 owners considering an oil change after running in?

The toyota V6 is a much older engine and probably does not have the manufacturing precision of the much newer AMG. That said, I'm old school so I'll probably do a 1K miles oil change anyway.

2k km service and software updates

Just took delivery on 2/11 and the dealer did say that they did a 2+ hours software update before I picked it up. I do have someone in the area that probably have not had the updates yet so I'll try to compare.

    So close!

Lotus dealer uses a pre-cut set that does not wrap over the edge in a lot of area and you can probably find a shop that will do a full clear wrap for same or less. I'm in CA and I paid a bit over $6K for full XPEL plus 2 coats of CC on wheels and calipers.

    So close!

I have average length fingers and my problem is that the paddles are further away than the Cayman and RS5 so it's a bit of a reach at times so I ordered the Magnetic paddles since the CF paddles are screw onto the shift mechanism, I can add a spacer with longer screws to get them closer to the...

How is the V6 Manual doing on the used US market these days?

I think Osmium Silver with Red is awesome. I spec'ed it sight unseen but it turned out great.

How is the V6 Manual doing on the used US market these days?

I just ran into a guy a couple days ago who just picked up a Seneca Blue with 1K miles from a local Alfa dealer for ~$96K with dealer installed pre-cut PPF.

Have you returned for service since delivery?

The battery charge lead is included in the trickle charger package.

Have you returned for service since delivery?

Just a FYI. I don't know how many of you have gone back to the dealer since you got your car. I have now gone back to the dealer twice since I got my V6 back in last Apr/May. First was last July for my 1000 miles oil change (not required but I'm old school) and it received like 4-5 software...

First impression of my i4 from a current V6 manual owner

Wrap is all done along with 2 coats of CC on wheels and calipers. Cloudy day and you really can't tell the difference before and after. Now have to suffer through the 1K break in. Briefly tried the fast sequential down shift. Still slower than the PDK but not bad, will give it more tries in the...

Just day dreaming what stripes will look like on my Osmium Silver. Looking at something like this but in red to match the interior.

What did you do to your Emira today?

Yep. Always planned on having both of the last ICE from Lotus. Just that it happened out of order. Original plan was to order the i4 since I missed the original FE 2..0 cutoff (before additional allocation after the last delay) and then get an end of production V6 manual in a few years. Then I...

What to do? 911T plus Base Emira

You need to take the Emira to the mountains. Sport suspension also have different alignment and chambers which gives it a sharper and more aggressive steering response.
