Additional i4 FE allocations were given to dealers after the delay and some may have a couple left.

Drove one in China about 6 months ago have also driven a A45s in Hong Kong. The actual shift feels the same, it's just it takes longer to happen after you click the paddle.

The DCT is not slow as it's a sealed unit from AMG and there's no report of it being slow on the A45. The delay is caused by the slow OS in the Emira which takes almost 1/2 sec to get the paddle click to the EMU but that's something you can learn to overcome with time.

I think some improvement were made in the production cars as most of the comment on slow response is on the press cars.

ALl depends on what you want out of your Emira? Is it a recreation vehicle for just driving enjoyment or do you plan to daily it. If it's the first, the V6 manual will probably offer you more enjoyment. If it's the later, the i4 maybe more bearable in traffic and on longer trips.
