That's a shocker. Not just Lotus this happens to though.
Hate any delays though over and above the norm. Always makes me wonder what the heck is wrong with my car!
Sorry probably shouldn't say that 😬😅
Sure it's all good 👍
I wouldnt say its worse.
It's not as fat I don't think.
Just the fat alcantara weird flat shape combo 😅
I'd always rather have a round wheel. Much easier control
M wheels are waaaaay top thick.
Just as well the Emira wheel has a fat flat bottom (the worst of all the bottoms...) as the seats don't go down low enough, so at least offers a bit more legroom
That is kind of what I was alluding to in my original post.
Lotus marketing has been poor. Originally they had a focus and pitched at "for the drivers" which was quite a strong campaign. But for reasons only known to Lotus they seem to have stepped away from this now. Either because of the...
No time to be buying cars at moment the weather is heinous here 😂 Will review Easter time.
Still rocking this (which is great in this weather, bring on the snow... ❄️)
With this arriving next month for daily duties.
I have still yet to see durability issues with alcantara bar on high touch areas (oily hands) such as wheel and gear knob. And they just require routine maintenance
Certainly not an issue if you are keeping the car for 10 years or less.
Get the Alcantara coated with a protector and will make...
There arent any main press reviews out there. There is no hype around the car.
'Normal' people won't even be aware of the Emiras existence and enthusiasts will have seen the early reviews and be split on whether it's right for them.
If they ARE interested they won't pay overs in this economic...
There is what 7 delivered cars on here that we know about? 5 with or had issues with first 4 weeks of ownership (or less)?
As an aside, Im not still on here to scare monger and gloat btw.
Honestly wanting to see this all pan out well and genuinely excited to see 3rd party upgrades in case I...
At least there is a probable explanation.
Now let's just hope Lotus do the right thing and make the parts available. The rest of your issues sound like they should be easily rectified. Hopefully all sorted now whilst weather is horrible 🙂
Komotec have probably been doing it longest.
Litchfield will have a map out and other upgrades soon no doubt.
They have warrantied their engine work in the past also, so worth keeping an eye out for.
Either way you aren't getting more than 30bhp without spending 15k or more
6000 miles
Wouldn't be a daily as getting an EV next month. But a GT/Sports car would work in the 'stable' as also considering a Caterham share with a certain forum member 👀
