    Initial Results after adding Tweeters

Hi Folks, This is a bit long and with a few pictures so will have to Post in sections PART 1 I finished installing my A-pilar tweeters yesterday and the sound improvement is definitely noticeable and worthy of the mod. A big thanks to @Chriscpm for kicking off this initiative and for the input...

    Windshield Wipers stuttering

I had the same problem from the onset with my blades, particularly with the longer blade shuttering on every use, so I decided to try some silicone ones that I found on Amazon. They're purchased in pairs, but are fairly inexpensive, so I used a 24" and 22" from the sets which, despite being a...

    Initial Results after adding Tweeters

Sounds like a plan @Chriscpm. I should receive the tweeters and Second Skin sound deadening by Friday, so perhaps we can coordinated for this coming weekend, if it works for you. Btw, here's a picture of the A-pilar trim removal taken from the service manual. Only 2 clips holds it in place.

    Initial Results after adding Tweeters

Thanks for that feedback @Nova. When I receive my Alpine tweeters and have the required panels removed, it should be fairly easy for me to compare the output sound quality by tapping in to the wires feeding the OEM tweeters first, as you recommend, and then tapping in to the midrange wires, as...

    Initial Results after adding Tweeters

Hi folks, @Chriscpm and I met this morning in Miami to share our Emira mod experiences and amongst others, we did a side-by-side comparison of our audio system's sound by playing the same two songs, "Another Brick in The Wall" (Part 1) and "Hotel California" in each of our cars. I have the OEM...

    Wheel Hanger Alignment Tool

Yeah, they're different thread sizes. I have the 911 size ones too. Fortunately, these guides are cheap enough to purchase a set for each application.

    Rubber door grommets?

Yes, what I meant was what @Aero clarified, but having looked at the pictures sent by @jamesbxxx, I went to double check my door and yes, mine also has the cavity at the very end. My apologies, for the confusion, as I had been under the impression that the drainage cavity was implemented by...

    Wheel Hanger Alignment Tool

I've used the guides with knurled ends for many years on all my cars without ever having damaged any wheel lug nut hole, but if it's still a concern, all you have to do is wrap a piece of electric tape over the knurled section.

    Wheel Hanger Alignment Tool

I've found that using one of those longer guides at the top along with a shorter one at the bottom works easiest, particularly when placing the wheel back. This way, you only have to concentrate on aligning the top (longer) guide with one of the rim's lug bolt holes, and once you have the wheel...

    Rubber door grommets?

Yes, makes sense that those two holes were never intended for drainage. Out of curiosity, I removed one of the grommets and found a bolt behind it, so I think you're spot on that those are intended exclusively to access those small bolts. I added a couple of additional pictures, the last of...

    Rubber door grommets?

Coincidentally, the issue of the door water accumulation/drainage inside the door panels was addressed in the thread "Lots of water in the car door" where a member sent a picture of the under section of his Seneca Blue door showing a single drainage cavity near the hinge section. That was when...

Was that 1/4" gap distance between the boot and the locking nut, or between the boot and the spring purch?

    Rubber door grommets?

You should have both of those holes in each door plugged with grommets.

Custom TPE & Carpet Floor Mats and Bootliner

Agreed regarding the boot (trunk) liner since it's the least visible and where liquid spills can occur more frequently. The only concern there is if, over time, the TPE material used can withstand high temperatures generated in the Emira's boot given its proximity to the engine, but I presume...

Custom TPE & Carpet Floor Mats and Bootliner

Hi Bancho, Please don't take this the wrong way, as your effort is very much appreciated. I understand that it's difficult to please every taste and surely many other members will find your mats attractive, but I was vey much looking forward to finally get all weather rubber mats (not TPE)...

2024 Emira of the Month - 2025 Calendar

Hi Folks, Just returned to Miami from a long vacation to Europe and the EOTM Calendar that I had ordered 3 weeks ago was in my mailbox. Below I've attached all of the calendar's pictures/pages. I'm certainly no expert on the subject of graphics/photography, but it actually came out nice...

    Hello and seeking advice

Not sure how far south you are in Florida, but if you're in the Miami area, I did both PPF and Ceramic with these guys and I was happy with their work. https://www.solartintinc.com/ Glad to share additional tips with you, should you want to consider them.

    Damaged center grill

If you're attempting to re-position the grille back into its place, w/o removing the front bumper, the use of zip ties to pull the grill outwards is a good suggestion by gcmak. Perhaps the fairly inexpensive tools pictured below and sold on Amazon could also help to reshape and pull it back in...
