    Adding a subwoofer

You can simply unplug the grey multi-pin wire connector which is attached to the OEM Sub (where the speaker wires are tapped), so you'll have only the Kicker linked.

    Adding a subwoofer

Great find that one of the rear fuse box unused power line. I wish I had known about that to have avoided snaking a dedicated line all the way to the battery. Nevertheless, for anyone else doing this mod, it will be a lot easier to connect the power wire there instead. The Kicker...

    Adding a subwoofer

Aesthetically, It actually looks nicer on the shelf than my pictures suggest, since I took them at night and there's plenty of glare and shadow effect from the flash. Keeping both subs working doesn't degrade the sound at all imo, although you get much more bass output from the Kicker than the...

    Rear diffuser bolts and clips

Good to know and thanks. I've swapped all the under tray bolts 10 months ago and have since removed 2 of the panels twice and about to do it again for an oil change and have yet to find any trace of corrosion, but will keep checking from time to time.

    Adding a subwoofer

I'm not sure about the RHD, but I'm led to believe that yes, they should be the same since RHD vs LHD is just a driver's orientation/position difference. As for the warranty coverage, I'm sure that the manufacturer will find a reason to decline it if you give them the slightest reason to do so...

    Adding a subwoofer

Yes, it will fit upright, not flat behind one of the seats, but if you go that route I'd opt for the driver's seat side because, if you're the only driver, there's a much lesser chance of accidentally damaging it. Also, be sure that none of the 2 seat position memory buttons are set to go fully...

    Adding a subwoofer

I believe it does because it's a section of the firewall where engine vibration and noise emanates the most.

    Adding a subwoofer

Ok, let me see if I can recall the sequential steps and what I used: 1) Push forward both seats to the Max to allow as much working space in the shelf area. It's tight back there so unless you're a good contortionist, you're likely to be sitting on the door sill and leaning in to the rear...

    Adding a subwoofer

Installed my 10" Kicker Hideaway subwoofer yesterday as an extension to the OEM sub and I'm very happy with the outcome. I placed it flush against the shelf back wall firmly stuck with velcro pieces. As @Nova mentioned in a recent post, the seat brackets are so low, and they move so far back...

    DIY: Floating Console Modification

Does this mean that, for those who haven't installed the shroud, having kept the OEM leather shift boot, the assembly can be lifted to provide enough clearance to slide in the tray and there's no need to remove the top trim?

    Rear diffuser bolts and clips

Hi again GreggT, As you've probably seen on my Feb 22nd post in response to @Billan's case I attached a picture of the applicable U-Clips because he found some missing or rusting on his Emira, but I only replaced one or two of them on my car so far because the OEMs got damaged. Otherwise, quite...

    Adding a subwoofer

Hi @FearGuise, These pictures are helpful, thanks. I'm also about to install a Kicker Hideaway 10", but was wondering if you saved, or can recall, the identifying wire color codes, particularly coming out of the OEM silver Amp that you tapped into. Also, where did you source the power from? In...

    Cold air induction box

Hi folks, I've also been toying with the idea of installing one of the two CAIs. What has held me back on pulling the trigger so far is trying to determine if the Eventuri's more than double the price of GRP's, is really justified. I haven't seen posts that contrast the virtues/weaknesses of...

    Rear diffuser bolts and clips

Hi @GregT, I think you got the numbers of bolts for the specific sizes just about right, but as I had mentioned before, I'd recommend ordering a few more of each bolt spec anyway so you can have extras for other future replacements. Where I believe you've gone way overboard is in the washer...

    Adding a subwoofer

I recently added tweeters to the A-Pillars and I'm very satisfied with the outcome. I'd also be willing to add a powered Sub-woofer if, and only if, it could be concealed or hidden as I want to avoid placing anything in the rear shelf which I occasionally do use for storage space. I've checked...

    Improperly Installed Seat Belt?

This was a subject of the Forum's debate in the past i.e. if the belt are correctly or wrongly installed. I happen to think that the orientation coming from factory (twisted) is both visually odd and not functional to use. I then compared them to my other cars and it was enough to convince me...
