I think you'll be very satisfied with this solution as my trim has stayed firmly in place up to date, it has sealed the gap and has effectively avoided the collection of small stones and debris in the otherwise original open gap.

I still have those aftermarket blades and never again wanting to go back to the OEM. Believe it or not, while I myself was skeptical about the swiping coverage area when I first ordered them, and as a matter of fact, I couldn't even tell the difference.

Excellent, good news indeed, you can then dismiss my suggestion. I brought it up simply to explore an alternative to replacing the rear lid glass with anything that has holes, with or w/o louvers, which would invite water and debris into the engine bay. But that's just me.
