As much as I wanted to pull one from the first shipment for our shop car I didnt because we have so many guys anxiously waiting on these. They were only able to get 10 V6 kits in the first batch to us. They are building them out as fast as possible and should have more coming late this...

Our kits we are putting together include the drain petcock kits with them to keep things as easy as possible. The drain hose can be routed down to the side of the belly pan so you can slide a drain catch under it, reach down and open the valve.

The o2 sensor code will not cause a limp mode like this. Its something going on with the exhaust valve, either the valve motor itself or the controller.

Because of the limited supply of these we are not taking pre-orders currently, sorry. Hoping we will have more in the next 2-3 weeks.

Yep^ What @kitkat said. No fix for US cars yet. We have tried a number of things but no luck. It will require an engineer to create a module that tricks the system. If anyone has a friend etc that can help out put them in touch!

Ive asked for cost and availability for the sunvisors and display surround trims to see what we can do. The airbag covers are difficult because they are only sold as an airbag unit and cant ship overseas without some special accommodations. So we may be stuck on those, our steering wheel...

The initial short shifter was a product from Forge, not one that we made. We ran the forge one in our own car and while it worked it could have been better, so thats why we developed our own and replaced the forge offering with it. If yours is new I would suggest selling to a local GR Corolla...

As far as I know it will not be able to do anything with the exhaust valve.

I think between @kitkat and @mr.suntorytime they will have a clever mount setup. We could make a nice powder coating aluminum mount as well. Initially you can use zip ties or the heavy duty scotch lok velcro to mount it though.

We have been getting them in waves. Likely the next batch will be around the end of the month.

I think sunvisors would be a fairly inexpensive no brainer for us to do, I will see what they cost and if we can get a set or two to offer this service with them. Everyone hates those stickers!

That could be possible, we could do a core return type process. Just want to make sure there is enough interest before we buy the pieces.

Fwiw, when the v6 car was on the dyno and the engineer there was working on it he emailed in a bit of disbelief himself. He ran it numerous times dialing things in but also to verify there wasn’t some fluke thing happening. That amount of power seems crazy, I know but I don’t think they have...

The rpm and speed limiter remain the same. We will do some back to back Draggy pulls and post the results once we get a kit installed on the shop car, maybe some dyno pulls as well just to show a secondary set of results.

Something like that would be better to he seats in to a local upholstery shop and have them done. They would need to remove the covers, "" the current sttiching and sew in the new desired pieces. Unless you want to remove the covers and send them that is.

Thanks so much @Rapture ! If anyone else wants to do something similar we can offer the same service for most any interior items. We could wrap yours if you send them in or possibly provide a brand new oem full replacement as well (so as long as they are available to get from our Lotus parts...

With the wireless connection kit you can log, setup gauges, change tunes, read/clear codes etc from your phone, no additonal connections are needed.

^This You will be able to run the same maps, just make sure to account for the different fuel ratings -- 95euro petrol =91 US , 97-99euro = 93 US

Do some reading in the modified 2GR community, MR2 community, Lotustalk.com, frankenstein motorworks etc and you will see these engines live at 500+hp without issue, dont just take one vendors word for it either way.

I was assured today that they will have full support and everything is fully functional. There may be updates with software or tuning later one but that will be all updateable if it happens.

Written instructions are coming asap. They are working on the write ups for them and we will post just as soon as we get the word! It’s all plug and play, “T’ing” into various sensors and their connectors/harness.

They have been around for quite some time and are tried/true 👍🏻 When we initially heard they were considering doing tuning for these cars we contacted them immediately and did everything we could to help, including a good bit of persuasion to do the V6 cars.

No those mods won’t alter anything enough to worry about with the pre-loaded tunes. If a dealer sees the kit installed, knows what it is and if they are sticklers they may make mention or note it in Lotus’ system and give a hard time about warranty.
