You do not want to drive around with the valve fully closed. IMO this should not be an option on the valve controller for Emira. Just because it's there doesn't mean it should be used.

I've been driving with the windows down quite a bit recently, especially in the morning when the air is cool and crisp. I did not get the sense that the car gets hot at all. This was at local speeds, though - 30-45mph. Are those who are experiencing hot flashes doing so at high way speeds?

Yea, with ceramic coating, it works really well. There are short nozzles sold for popular electric leaf blowers to make this task easier. I 3D printed one for mine.

Heck yea. I am dailying mine and it's great!!! I have been on a couple of 300-400 mile drives and it's definitely road trip-able. Just stay away from the cruise control during break in.

Luckily I don't have that problem in the DC area and Orlando. Too many other fancy cars around.

Congratulations! What did you expect to see under the car? It's all covered with panels. If you want to check for loose screws, you can kind of just eye them by kneeling down and peeking under the car.

Nope, none so far... I have not kept up with CARB approvals either... which is needed before the Automatics can be sold - although they can certainly ship the non-CARB State cars here first like they did with the manuals.

I don't think it's about performance, though. He says he drives his Testarossa more, because it's a more exotic/dramatic experience (I'm paraphrasing). The other cars he says he likes to drive are his very old Rolls, and very old Elan. So I don't believe raw performance is the driver for him...

I don't think the views he is getting is worth him making an effort on. YouTube is a hobby for him. Maybe the McLaren was something on his list that he needed to cross off. Maybe he will rotate back to a Lotus. That would scream redemption to all the Lotus owners.
