My 100k vantage did the same re poor hatch design.… lift the boot too quickly and everything inside got wet.

I’ve only ever bought hifi kit based on sound quality… I’ve never yet come across a decent system that isn’t loud enough Buying based on power output seems bizarre to me, but I guess people are quite bizarre 😃

It’s a real shame when people are dropping out due to poor comms/management etc… but if you’ve found a car you prefer then that’s a great thing we should all be celebrating…

My bedroom Kef setup apparently has 100w per tweeter plus 280w per bass unit, so Kef seem to believe they need a significant amount of power to drive their speakers - 760w in total! - for this small home setup. They are 8 ohm speakers too so that is a mind boggling amount of amp output… unsure...

.I’m assuming these bonkers power figures are the total across all the channels… so the Kef 340w across 10 channels is actually a 34w per channel amp…. Not very powerful

Funny things, ears! I’ve got the LS50 wireless in our bedroom and think they aren’t that far behind my focal and naim setup downstairs, which is about 5 times the price… I love music whilst driving, the emira Kef setup has me worried! My review may focus on the Kef as much as the driving 😳

ouch then if it isn't outperforming some of those. Never heard Burmeister, but Dynaudio and focal do some good home stuff at their higher end... I've got an amazing pair of Focal's in the front room. Sounds like Leonard Cohen's up the chimney!
