Why would the clutch wear more? If you have to stop at a junction uphill your foot will be on the brake pedal and car in neutral. When you move off, select 1st gear and move foot from brake to throttle and the auto hold allows you to do this without physically having to put the parking brake on.

For what it’s worth Emiro, my first Emira had no privacy glass, but did have electrical problems, it was an early build. Lotus supplied me with a replacement car, my exact spec apart from this one having privacy glass. For me, I actually prefer my current car with it, but it’s not a deal breaker...

Hill hold assist should work in either reverse gear or first gear - it works fine on mine as I have to reverse up our drive into the garage up hill, which is quite steep. If your drive is steep enough for the hill hold assist to work in 1st gear then it should also work in reverse. Looks like a...

My Pixel 4a connects by Bluetooth within a few seconds but if I am out for a longer drive and playing music then I have a short usb cable in the arm rest which also works fine and charges the phone

Thanks for that. Just took the car out and all warning lights went off about a mile after start up and have now remained off after a couple of stops and restarts. Think I’ll still get dealer to look at it as they are only half hour away, although they haven’t returned my call………

Just on 1400 miles in mine and I have had ABS and TCS lights come on a few times but they had been clearing after a few re starts, but now are permanently on. It seems to be linked to the hand brake as I initially had a warning msg pop up to say that the hand brake and ABS need a service. Now...

My 2p from today. I phoned them twice, firstly at just after 10 to request a towing eye plug for the front grill which was missing when I picked the car up. 2nd call was to get the paint code for my Nimbus grey car. Sorted in 2 mins 👍
