    Will you buy one today?

My wife actually got tired of hearing about Lotus for 25 years and told me to go get it. She is right life is short and you have to balance financial maturity against enjoying life. The Lotus news are certainly concerning but I expect to keep the Emira forever or pass it to one of my boys so I...

    Hello from Maryland

Emiraforum has been so educational, and I find people here generally friendlier than on Lotustalk. I intend to keep hanging out here to learn more and to catch (CA) bay area meetups.

What car is more beautiful than an Emira?

I was going to. Almost all Aston's are stunning in my book and my Emira replaces an Aston Martin DB9 which I still find gorgeous, but the automatic transmission was kind of boring. EDIT: also, the 10 yo tech in the car felt 20 yo old which was off-putting, but so pretty!

    Midlife CARisis Gets a V6M

Is the cat3 delete just about making the Emira louder or is that a noticeable perf improvement? (I appear to be the only one who think it's plenty loud).

    Who are "The Drivers"

Same, my 10 yo Model S (Ludicrous, not plaid) is heavy but fast in a straight and is stupidly practical and economical. I haul kids and dog so Emira couldn’t even if it tried.

    Who are "The Drivers"

Answering the question in the head post, I have probably driven it less than 10 miles since I bought it a week ago. (I drove it straight to get PPF and the wait is painful)

    Bay Area, CA Meetups

I'm in that area and finally got a Lotus (after wanting one for 25 years). It's currently getting PPF but when I get back in mid August I would love to join a meet-up and learn from other peoples experiences.
