Pretty sure doc fees are usually set by the dealer, and can vary from zero to thousands of dollars. It always pays to shop around.

Except the fixed sales/excise tax, those are all ridiculously, crazy high. $500 total fees would be tolerable, $3000 ($1500 + $900 + $500 +$100) is not. It’s a relatively new thing (at least around here) that some dealers use 3rd party companies to process their paperwork, at very high prices...

The weight supported by each rear wheel on a V6 Emira is about 1000 pounds- wouldn’t be a problem.

I think the crossover filters that come with the speakers are there to filter out low frequencies to protect the tweeters. But I guess they could also reduce the gain. Still surprised it sounds better without them.
