Just dipping my toe in the water to see what interest might be out there as I search for my replacement car. Roughly 1400 miles, only mods are carbon fiber mirror covers (removeable if you don't like, but they look great), and the Miltek exhaust valve synched with my homelink mirror button...

That is a lot of car for the money. People are scared off by the hybrid aspect I think as EVs tend to have horrible resale in most cases.

I do like the 650S, but for me at least it does seem a little dated in style (I don't care for the rear end as much) I don't know if you watch Harry's Garage (you tuber, ex EVO magazine guy), but he went from a Lotus Emira to a 650S and loves it. Good series to watch if you don't already.

I understand your perspective - you probably wouldn't like the flames shooting out the top mounted exhaust either - ha! But my point is simply supercars start bending the norm and illicit a more visceral response good bad or otherwise.

Has anyone installed the Aerie carbon fiber side skirts yet? Curious to know how fitment was, install difficulty and final look results. The product description is erroneous - it refers to the front splitter. So not much help there. Photos also show these sort of weird little wheel arch...

To me the cheap loose fitting ones are better at least for inside garage protection. Any car will have a certain amount of dust on it and pulling tight fitting covers just rub grit into your paint (kinda like scribbling "wash me" on a dusty car). So a light loose cover makes sense. Obviously...

The MC20 is THE best looking car on the planet right now (obviously opinions may vary). I don't understand the steep depreciation curve for these.

Hmmm, I am trying to picture that - I think it might look pretty cool. Basic black is ok, just a tad boring. I am a painter, so ya know just like a hammer - everything looks like a nail. If you prep the letters and bar lines to a high polish, paint then remove those areas back to polished...

The painted engine cover looks great. I think it would look good on most cars if it were painted to match the exterior color of the car, especially with a carbon surround.
