Yikes, I paid only $150 for an authentic all-metal BMW X5M key to use for my M2 Comp. I donated my plastic fantastic chintzy standard M2 Competition spare key so the guy could swap the internals. It's shocking to me that the standard keys for an M2 Competition are the same as a base F30 3 Series.

Nope; many Lotus dealers have and will honor MSRP. I personally don't (nor should anyone else) tolerate ADM. Doesn't matter if it's a $1 or $15,000. Doing business with integrity goes a long way.

This is unfortunate; this is why I can't stand Porsche dealerships. They are notorious for doing this kind of thing. A little irritated to hear that Lotus USA is engaging in this kind of business practice as well.

I don't know any more than most, when it comes to allocations. We're basically all just lines on a spreadsheet right now; I have no clue if the order of that spreadsheet is sorted by "first come first serve" or if they're just rearranging it based on other factors like *cough* favoritism.
