So far yes the USA side it appears that way. There appears to be more consistency on the Canadian side. Plus this guy ordered from the same dealership so I would be able to figure out certain things.

Pretty sure you would need to know the federal torque requirements for the seat belt bolts etc if removing them. This is a critical operation in the plant and a quality safety item.

Decided to call Gentry Toronto to get an update. I didn't get my usual guy .. this guy wasn't as nice let's put it that way. I guess there are no cars in Canada being held at dealerships/warehouses for storage like in the USA. He was saying that Lotus goes in order of deposits when they go down...

Only lotus would void the warranty for removing a cover.. doubt any other manufacturer would even care.
