Question. May belong in this thread, maybe not. There’s a video of the Emira on the Asian deliveries that shows the Emira going more than slightly faster that we were told the NA spec will be. Can anyone confirm if the car in the video is actually doing 3.7 to 60mph. i4 or V6 wasn’t listed to go...

I’m looking at some 2015-2016 i8’s. Depreciation has taken ~2/3 of MSRP so should provide a little fun before trading in when (if??) my base Emira arrives. Summer 2022 depositor. Dealer told me to expect to place order summer 2024. We’ll see about that.

Yup. I do fix my wife’s Land Rover for $2,000 every year. Doesn’t matter what it is, it’s $2,000. The Emira has warranty which is a plus. I’ve had a convertible in Florida (Elan) and that itch is officially scratched. FWIW University of Florida + Elan = more azz than a toilet seat

That doesn’t apply here. Right to retain warranty by using replacement parts from a 3rd party for repairs is different than replacing OEM parts and causing other systems to fail. If you install an exhaust system that causes the car to behave in a manner inconsistent with its created intentions...
