Agree, likely a bug. The cause is probably them working on the base configuration but they messed up the sandbox for testing.

What about the front plate for us here in Texas? Did your dealer require a mount or were you allowed to take it with just the rear plate?

For an August build, when did you confirm your order? I’m wondering how the dealers know what month it will be built based on when the order was submitted.

The will likely be 2024 MY still. Lotus has been back and forth but my dealer stated cars coming in late this year with the FE badge are 2024

config vs locked? Was there a four month lag from when you submitted your final configuration to the dealer to when they sent you the confirmation e-mail?

The emissions control warranty which includes the TCM and ECM. Oddly enough utilizing the launch control feature voids the entire warranty. Like why have it then???

Can anyone tell me why Lotus would install Launch Control if they say using it voids the warranty:

Removal of the “underfloor” cat (3rd cat) was specifically called out in the USA warranty handbook. It voids the warranty. Otherwise Lotus offers 8yrs 80k miles on certain emissions items.

CARB didn’t have a refresh site like the EPA did they? The EPA won’t have a different entry for the automatic; at least they didn’t for the Evora GT.

Have you experienced the Home button going dead like some other owners? They state the car still plays music but you can’t press the Home button without letting the car sit locked for 10 mins to reset.
