That sounds promising. The window in my demo car was just barely showing when all the way down. I wonder if this is the correct calibration. Seems reasonable. I never roll the window down here in Texas anyway.

Pretty sure the 4.2 number is the manual. The auto will shave .2 off that. Couple that with the reliability and it’s a wash for me. When I’m ready for more performance I’ll grab a 570

I wouldn’t call the V6 lower performance, in either manual or automatic, it’s simply a different configuration. Now as for the future, it seems that path is the AMG

Why would they lie about having a VIN? As far as we have seen there aren’t any V6 autos on the shipping manifest yet. I’m kind of excited to see when they do start shipping out.

I’m fairly certain that all the FE’s will hit US soil by Dec 31. I also submitted my factory order in May and the communication from Lotus said November/December delivery with a build in September.

My dealer said they had instances of the car just showing up before they were notified it was complete.

Well it is an Exotic sports car. Not a Supercar as most define it but an Exotic nevertheless.

I’m confused as to how the dealer didn’t just submit the paperwork on your behalf when you bought the car. The title, if you paid outright, would come in the mail. If not the registration is completed in the finance office and the temp tags placed on the car. The plates usually come in the mail...

I’m curious how the cooler works on the Emira supercharger with its placement on the side and not after the blower exit port. Maybe I’m not seeing how the superheated air is ducted before the intake?

I just checked the EPA site, which has certification prior to to the more rigorous CARB, it only has the V6 as the most recent approval. Not to say that the public site isn’t delayed but…….doesn’t look good

Did the i4 AMG get CARB approval yet? Last one I saw was the V6 auto on May 30.

The replacement part needing a week to ship I understand. Why on Earth would it take Lotus engineering two weeks to read a MAF sensor code? That’s pretty basic.

That 200 degree coolant does seem hot but not too hot to flag a warning.

The original factory submission is verified against the original deposit information to make sure it’s a real order by the same person. As you got an “orphaned” order that’s already being built I suspect it’s just a way for Lotus to update the record as you being the owner of the factory submission.

Did the Decat really change the volume? The valve control certainly does, of course.

Other than the price there’s no way to tell. I selected HY with black pack. So an FE1 color option although I had the option to select many more. I placed my deposit in 2022 but missed the first 900 unit allocation.

I was able to test drive an automatic in November 2023 I believe. Your dealer should be able to get one of the traveling road cars.

Now on the the Automatic FE’s. How many total is that for FE1 + FE2? I forget how many first editions there were going to be in the US and Canada.

When they took your Feb factory order did they give you an anticipated build month? For example “feb deposit with expected June build”?

That’s why I’m curious about the gains an Venturi design gives. The forced induction would overcome any resistance from the standard version. Not sure how much more air gets in above what the blower is capable of.

What was the final number of FE’s supposedly for NA? 2200 was it? Assuming the automatics were included in that there’s a few more coming in the second half.

Instead of clear PPF do a color wrap. Choose a Lotus catalogue color like Orange Chromium.

That’s a sorry ass showing. Wonder the manual in 6th is such trash? Seems the automatic would cut that in half. Hell the Camry base does it in half the time. Same for a mini cooper.
