When I drove the Emira V6, it had so many qualities of the Evora, but just more refined, but not in a bad way…in a good way. However, I have the I4 ordered so I can’t really compare the Emira AMG to the Evora S quite yet.

Agree… but still will say the Lotus Evora S has been the most enjoyable sports car. Could really ring it out and not feel it is too overpowered for daily driving. Anxiously awaiting the Emira arrival in the next month or so.

Your Lotus order/communication/delivery experience is heavily dependent upon the dealership you go through. At least this is how it seems. Such a vast difference noticed from people on this forum.

I think your guess is right on. Does anyone know what the two variants of engines actually cost? Say a replacement engine for either the AMG I4 vs V6. Hard for me to believe the hand built AMG is cheaper to source. Or is the time involved to modify the Toyota engine? Does anyone know?

Exactly, both variants give different experiences. The sound of the V6 is incredible and the manual is a blast. However, at 6’6” tall, size 14 shoes, the clutch/pedals are difficult to operate, not impossible, but not comfortable. So, everyone has their reasons for which experience that want...

Completely agree that once the FE’s are accounted for with allocations, then we will see the Base configurator go up. Also, I believe when someone builds a car with the FE options on the new Base configurator it will definitely be more expensive. Just my opinion.

Ok, got an email back… stated the only thing he could confirm is arrivals will be towards the end of September. Fingers crossed CARB certification is completed by then. 🤞🏻

Spoke to someone today who said it’s looking like towards the end of September for Emira arrivals. Secondly, they are definitely 2024’s. My VIN confirms it too….. EmiraFan’s VIN is likely 2-3 days earlier than my build.

From what I have found, not yet. I have put out an email to someone that might have a more updated answer. Will post what I hear back.
