I have the PS2's and got the car with 31/35 cold and just dropped them down to what the manual states of 29/32. I will see if it makes a difference.

Mine just came on today after about 300 miles, I wonder if I try this it will save me trip to the dealer. How is your situation the fault is still gone?

I have had this issue twice in the past week, so still happening. Mine has the latest software as it was a 6/8/24 delivery and dealer said it is part of the PDI to update the software.

All this talk has confused me so I went and reread my extended warranty contract. My contract states my car is covered for 8 years or 80,000 miles from the purchase date of 6/8/24. If it ran concurrent that would mean it would only be 5 years or 50,000 from date of purchase?

The car comes with 3 years, the extended adds 5 more years to the original 3 years for a total of 8 years from date of purchase.

Yes you can, but supposedly it is more expensive at that time plus my luck would be I would miss the date and the car blows up the next day. :ROFLMAO:

I bought it for peace of mind, it extends the factory warranty to 8 years. With everything we have read about the problems with the Emira I felt it was like insurance. I bought one for my wife's Porsche which I feel now would not have been necessary, but I have never owned any other vehicles...

Wow, $4295 is pretty high. We have AAA and am at $3226 at 1mil but I was lucky enough to have to add my just permitted 18 year old son to our policy. 🤣 :cry:

I have been lazy, I bought what is needed and already put 200+ miles with no issues. Ran my finger through these areas, and no sharp edges. Will still add the mod just to be safe, but have barley seen a crease at this area in my car.

Can I ask why? I have a 1998 Lexus ES300 with 71k miles and still looks showroom new. Just washed and waxed, all I am going to do with this car.

My wife's RAV4 had the same engine and had the same thing. I know we all think this is a 100k plus car, but it still is a Toyota wrapped by Lotus. BTW: a RAV4 or Camry have their engines covered by a hood, ours are exposed.

On a side note, it has been about 32 years since I drove a stick and a car that feels everything since I have Sport with Cup2's. Traffic and bad roads from LA and another 50 miles with my son to go for a spin, I feel beat up. :ROFLMAO:

So with all the talk about insurance, besides 1 hit I get 2. Add the Lotus and an 18 never licensed driver to your AAA insurance. $5800 at $500 for both for the year, damm, $9500 a year in just car insurance.
