I think they have installed all the additional electronic systems and controllers under this area. More so than Evora but needed for new display systems, they don’t want this area being crushed . Just my thoughts, might be wrong.

i had black pack on both my Evoras, I had no problems with swirls or indeed chips etc. in my opinion there is no need to PPF this area, totally overkill. In 10 years apart from a good polish everything was fine. No need to panic on this.
