Agree Tom. Sorry for any confusion. So if you notice the car has been nicked you can report it stolen and (unless the thief has disabled it) track the car. But if you are away and don’t know it’s been nicked with the fob you won’t be alerted.

The fob talks to the Scorpion unit in the car to tell it that you are the owner. If car is stolen the theory is that the thief won’t have the fob and the owner is alerted and car is tracked. As long as you don’t keep the fob in the car or by your keys ! It’s on the left by the key for scale.

Thx for posting the photo ! I don’t think that works with Google maps or Waze - I have tried both driving not just ignition on. I’ll try Apple Maps and see if I can replicate. But my go to is Waze so I’ll live without the directions there and just look at the main screen.

Played with gear changes today in Tour and Sport and confirm no difference - noticeable rev hang in both modes. I couldn’t video myself so will ask a family member to hop in for a ride to try to capture what it looks and sounds like.

I tried that today @Kimmax with both Waze and Google Maps directions via Wireless Apple Car Play and played with every option on the steering wheel. I couldn’t get any directions to come up to the right of the display. Did you have to change any settings anywhere ? Maybe you have later software ?

Yep for sure - dark colours always show the dirt worse. Best cars I have had for not have been silver or grey. But it’s part of the charm as well (at least I say that now - haven’t actually washed it yet ! Going to invest in some new long reach kit for the holes and vents !).
