Something massive has clearly changed if that is the case as CS clearly said that there were a mix of Auto and Manual cars for Nov/Dec I'm at the Eletre Launch event tomorrow night so will speak direct to Lotus about it then and hopefully have a clear update for you all.

Yep they are worth billions but they won’t prop up the UK side of Lotus forever especially when MW has already admitted that it’s partly their fault. You can see MW is worried and continuously talking about margins.

They couldn't afford that sort of technology they are in debt up to their eye balls, by the time they have paid for that glue machine and the wages for hundreds of staff that are sitting around with their thumbs up their arse they are SKINT.

I agree with Tony take the car while you can, I think most of us will get our cars beyond March 2023 anyway (1st 2nd batch) Taking a chance by delaying could leave you here this time next year still scratching your head. If only Lotus could tell us your car will be delivered in March or April...

Not sure that will be the finished car but do agree not a fan of what I see in that picture.

On the UK site it says the Carrera T does... Performance Top speed 181 mph Acceleration 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) 4.0 secs And on a YouTube video I just watched said the PDK would do 0-60 in 3.8 second's.

Tony that is a good point anyone who is an early depositor and hasn't received their email is still in with a chance of a 30 day check out email. Hope for some still.

You pay a 5k deposit and that will be fully refundable until they release all the details. So worth getting in the queue if your really interested. Im making a decision after nexts weeks launch event of the Eletre and based on how bad my bad news will be when the email finally lands.

I asked that very question and was assured that it would be an option in the new year. Apparently there is a world shortage of parts or something.

6 to 12 months on the Carrera T a serious option but I suppose if you can't wait the spider is a great car.

I popped into Porsche Mayfair today in London and they said middle to end of 2023 for delivery. The new special colour Ice grey metallic is amazing.

Yes the Carrera T sits between the Carrera base and Carrera S but it comes with a few nice extras like sports exhaust and chrono pack. It’s basically set up as a more daily focused car. A great car for the money and a real keeper
