They are not even building Carrera C2 and C2s at the moment only the GTS any deposit on a 911 now will likely go into the new 992.2 builds. expect delivery March 2024

After 6 months there will still be a waiting list as long as your arm. You won’t see many secondhand Emira’s for 18 to 24 months that’s when the risk will start and the market is flooded with them. I think they will be massively popular for along time.

Things must be changing all the time what with parts still coming in and people cancelling or deferring to a later month, my advice is take the December delivery if you want to the car as early as possible. Deferring will leave you wide open to god knows what batch.

Just a quick update, I have spoken with Lotus CC today and they have confirmed that demo and customers cars are now being produced. So hopefully that means the first of the 30 day calls within a couple of weeks.

I went for the V6 but have seriously considered swapping for the i4 as something is telling me that this is going to be the model to have. If they could tell me a fixed date then id swap but as we all know changing now only sends me in to the abyss. It's the more modern technology that interest...

The demand for a used Emira will be huge despite what any of the reviews say, supply verses demand won't even out for 2 to 3 years at least and that's when a lot of the used cars will be going on to market. My opinion is that with the new car values only going one way in the next year or two...

As I understand it anyone locking their spec in last week or this is a November build if that’s start of November that could potentially mean an end of November delivery. November builds should be deposits 11th of July onwards. That’s from what I’ve read on here.

November build means December delivery so that should make you batch three. May I ask the date of your original deposit?

Having a read through some the posts on this thread it seems that the UK batch one and two have now been merged for what ever reason, everyone being asked to lock in by the 19th seem to be batch 3. Anyone agree? Or am I reading it wrong.

Tom pushing your delivery back is a massive risk as you would literally be rolling the dice and could end up with your car be delivered ridiculously late. Take the car while you can.

It’s just a shame Lotus have turned on Tom and pushed his delivery month back.
