I think the dirt on the back is mainly from the vents. Whether it’s functional or not is debatable but basically the rear tyres project all the road water and debris through the vent.

Be careful with the collar on the black cord. Sharp edges from the metal collar. Sharp edges together with keys in pocket will scratch up the keys.

The previous fix isn’t perfect, the seal wasn’t tall enough as it’s a wedge shape. This one is much improved and completely seals the door so no dirt inside the door jam. You’re absolutely right thank you. There is a gap around the door leading up-to the door jams where there is PPF. I’ve sealed the gap with some rubber door seal hopefully this will stop all the muck and grit getting up there. Also might help with wind noise too.

I get what the air vents do but why does the door jam get so dirty. Where does it come from? It doesn’t come from the bottom side skirts or the rear side vents because that’s after the door jam.

Thank you for confirming. I see a big shortage of wiper motors coming up. New wiper motor plus software me thinks. Not as simple as updating the software on the wiper motor. I can’t really understand how wipers can be botched up?

Would you mind sharing what paint issue you got? I got some bubbling/spots on the drivers door on my list.

Nothing has been applied. I actually clay barred it to get rid of any contamination and wiped down the wiper blade rubbers.

As well the wiper speed issue needs addressing. Mines judders really badly and very annoying that I try not to drive in the rain. I’ve cleaned the wipers and was like this from new.

My dealer never had this option but at least a courtesy car to use. It’s appalling that there is so many niggles to sort out on a new car.

Do you mean improving by adding extra earthing to the negative terminal by using gold plated ICE earth bolts and OFC earthing wire terminals

I be surprised if they do sell it. I tried and paid for Chipex and they refunded me the money. They don’t have the paint formula. But some body shops can do it because they can scan the paint work and get the very nearest match, mixed for you.

I didn’t it even know it wakes up the cars systems if the car is locked. I keep it in a faraday bag and all is good. Just make sure that boot lid is shut properly.
