We all knew the I4 ecu was detuned to get to 360hp from a marketing point of view. The I4 SE is now at 400HP. I bet it will be a lot easier/ faster to get a tune for that Mercedes engine than the good old Toyota.

I personally do not think the Evora GT had a different engine with different internal part. Never heard or read about this before. Our car can safely rev til 7200rpm and make 416-430hp without any additional bolt on part and risk to explode under normal operation. Lets hope pray for a good...

Oh my! That means the entire world must own a car with 16hp less and 400 rpm left on the table for 1 state regulation ? Could they have a custom map for their car shipped to California dealer and another map more agressive for the rest of the world instead ?

From my point of view I am pretty sure they can get 30-40hp at best with just an ECU tune alone. To get 50-60hp you will need some minor bolt on part like intake, exhaust on top. This car deserve a 450hp to have a great power to weight ratio and to be as fast as a Cayman GT4 with 414HP.

That’s why I am wondering why they lowered the Emira to 6800rpms. It doesn’t make any sense other then make room for a better car version later on based on a marketing point of view.

I still don’t understand the 6800 rpm limitation… our car need to rev til 7200-7400 rpm to stay into the better power band curve longer and better symphony for the 👂 hear either. Win win situation . Still waiting for an ecu tune solution other then Jubu at 6-7KUS - 10K$ canadian….

The car’s sound into the game is a total mess. I am not even able to tell if they tried to replicate a V6 or 4 cylinders engine sound. There is a blowoff valve sound meaning a turbo presence but the 3D physic model show the v6 engine cover and even the manual car dont have the supercharger...

The black gloss look like a perfect match !!! Can you upload another picture of the car onto the ground. I think I am hesitating because it may goes forward a bit too far than what I would like. Does it look too agressive without having to install side skirt to goes with it ?

Does the Emira have a totally different ECU than the Evora and is harder to crack ? Because it is the same good old engine since decade I tought it was going to be a walk in the park to see some Emira Tune comes on the market but radio silence since.

When are we going to have tune option other than Jubu at 10 000$ canadian or 6-7K US. I cant wait to get a 430-440 tune reflash for 3K US and I am all in. Without the 3rd cat + air filter + a tune, I am looking to be close to 450HP + 7200rpm. . I will continue to dream and 🙏 pray! Amen ! BOE...
