Unfortunately Lotus doesn't have an ICE powertrain that suits the million-dollar price tag. If they could source an AMG V12 like Pagani that would be awesome.

I fitted a GRP short shifter on my car and the ticking noise went away. Not a definitive solution but it's accidentally a fix. :unsure: My dealer couldn't provide me with a solution as the claim they submitted to Lotus was never heard back.

I can't agree more since I moved from a manual GR Supra to a manual Emira. Supra is an awesome sports car and in many ways even better than the Emira. But I loved the way the Emira drives much more than the Supra.

After installing the GRP short shifter, I found it harder to get into 1st and 2nd gear. It wasn't a problem before the install. Does anyone else experience the same? I will try the adjustment to see if it helps.

I just installed the VC yesterday while doing an oil change. No decat pipe thou as I don't have a pipe expander ready. It was indeed very difficult to secure the VC in the recessed box.

My 3rd cat delete pipe and VC are still sitting in the garage waiting for installation. How did your installation go? Do you need to expand the pipe?

Mine didn't came with a charger and the dealer supplied it later during a service visit. I guess the dealership pre-wired the kit during PDI?

Just hooked up the Lotus supplied battery tender. I connected the eyelets to the battery nuts, and Dremelled a little cutout on the battery cover to run the wire. I didn't fully close the trunk just to be easy on the trunk rubber seal.

I had mine done a couple of days ago. It's a fairly simple and straight forward installation process with simple hand tools required. You should be able to do it yourself in about 1 hr.

In the short term, C8 Z06 maybe. Not a fan of the styling but LT6 sounds sooooo good. No manuals. :( Or a manual GT3 depending on the budget. Can't really think of others. Vantage or AMG GT? But no manuals either.
