Contacted my dealer again. The only information they have is the car is expected to arrive in July. No VIN or build date from them either..

I actually wanted to order i4 first. It was supposedly much cheaper (base should be in the 70k) and also lighter, and the M139 can easily make more power. But I changed my mind when the i4 FE price was revealed (basically same as V6) and the production was delayed.

I would imagine it's easier to live with than a super car. Relatively inexpensive to own, good visibility and practical to use on an everyday basis. And it offers a manual that you won't find in any modern supercars.

Same here, I was also quoted March/April build date, but now my dealer reported the delivery in June/July.

Almost the same spec as the one I ordered. But I have paid a non-refundable deposit at my local dealer so I figured I should wait for my own car..

Even if I plan to get ppf anyway, I would not tolerate actions like that from the dealer. What they are doing is illegal and utter BS. I would reject the mandatory ppf and sue them if they do not allow me to buy a car that I ordered and signed a contract for.

Same FE 2.0 here and expected in May/June. ;)

Geely is actually kind of special since their CEO has a special relationship to the big boss of China.. Maybe they don't need to worry about the government.

window tint and PPF for sure next maybe some carbon fiber interior or exterior kit will be running the stock for a while before deciding any exhaust, suspension or brake upgrades

Auto blip is a really nice to have. I used to do rev matching, heel & toe with my Evo X, but moved onto Supra MT. The auto blip was so good that I never heel & toe myself.. Perhaps I got lazy with the new tech.

Standalone ECU means it's a new ECU that replaces the stock ECU, right?

I just ordered an Atlantis Blue FE 2.0 too! Really loved this color when I saw the color samples. But mine was scheduled to build in March/April 2024 and delivery in May/June 2024.

I put down my deposit in Nov. 2022 and just got an allocation last week for a V6 FE 2.0. My dealer told me the i4 models are being delayed so more allocations for FE 2.0 are being relased, but they don't have a lot more so I need to decide quickly.
